Best architecture book that keeps you creative!
I am a sophomore architecture major at Marywood University. This book was incredibly helpful with terms and definitions as I worked my way through freshman year. I know I will use this book for years to come. If anyone is looking to learn about architecture and how space interacts with our world, this is a perfect book. I rate it very highly!!!

The Language of Space and Form is a must for anyone interested in understanding the foundation principles of design in architecture. The breakdown of the book is well organized and introduces basic vocabulary needed to describe . Photographs of student work at various architecture programs compliment the written descriptions, offering a better visual of the descriptions.
I have been teaching architecture and interior architecture for since 2002 and this book elegantly conveys the foundation language needed for the beginning design student and should become one of those books that you never want to sell after leaving school. This book should also be reviewed by professional architects and designers every so often to remind themselves that even real design commissions should start with strong concepts.
